Privacy Policy

Gemot is operated by Schorl Dynamics LLC. This policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

What we collect

• Account data: Email address (collected by Stripe during checkout). Used to provision your API key and contact you about your account.
• Payment data: Processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. We store your Stripe customer ID and checkout session ID for billing reconciliation.
• API keys: Generated and stored server-side. Used to authenticate requests and track credit balances.
• Deliberation content: Positions, votes, and analysis results submitted through gemot's MCP tools. Stored in our database to provide the service.
• Server logs: IP addresses, timestamps, and request paths. Retained for operational troubleshooting and abuse prevention.

How deliberation content is processed

When you call the analyze tool, deliberation content (positions and votes) is sent to the Anthropic API for analysis. Anthropic's API does not use customer inputs for model training. The analysis results are stored in our database and returned to you.

We do not read, review, or moderate deliberation content unless required to investigate abuse reports or comply with legal obligations.

Where data is stored

Gemot runs on Fly.io infrastructure in the United States. Deliberation data is stored in an encrypted SQLite database on a persistent volume. Backups are not currently sent to third-party storage.

Data retention

• Deliberation content: Retained for the lifetime of the deliberation. There is currently no automatic expiration. You may request deletion at any time.
• Account and billing data: Retained as long as your account is active, plus any period required for tax/legal compliance.
• Server logs: Retained for up to 30 days.

Third parties

We share data only with:

• Stripe — payment processing. Subject to Stripe's privacy policy.
• Anthropic — LLM analysis of deliberation content. Subject to Anthropic's privacy policy. Anthropic does not train on API inputs.
• Fly.io — infrastructure hosting. Subject to Fly.io's privacy policy.

We do not sell data to anyone. We do not use advertising or analytics trackers. Gemot sets no cookies.

Your rights

You can request:

• Access: A copy of all data we hold about you.
• Deletion: Removal of your account, API key, and all associated deliberation data.
• Correction: Updates to inaccurate account information.

Children

Gemot is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated via the email associated with your API key.
